Sunday Shout-Out: Peanut Butter Bonbon Bars

It’s Sunday Shout-Out time.  There are so many talented, creative, and extraordinary bloggers making amazing goodies.  And oh how I wish I had time to bake all the things that make me smile, and hungry.  Instead of making the recipe, I’m going to share the scrumptious recipe post with you.  Plus, it’s always fun to discover a new blog!

This humdinger comes from Rachel of {I Love} My Disorganized Life. I met Rachel through Online Blogcon a few months ago and am so glad I did! I love that her blog is a variety of things: recipes, crafts, DIY, fashion, link parties, and more. Just recently the post that caught my eye was the recipe for Peanut Butter Bonbon Bars. Yes, you read that right, BARS, forget all the rolling and covering in chocolate. Genius!  And she puts a little surprise in them that you wouldn't expect; you'll have to pop over to Rachel's blog to see what it is......

Sunday Shout-Out: Chocolate Almond Brownie Balls

It’s Sunday Shout-Out time. There are so many talented, creative, and extraordinary bloggers making amazing goodies. And oh how I wish I had time to bake all the things that make me smile, and hungry.  Instead of making the recipe, I’m going to share the scrumptious recipe post with you. Plus, it’s always fun to discover a new blog!

This recipe comes to us from Katie of What Katie's Baking. Her Chocolate Almond Brownie Balls look divine. I love all of Katie's creations. She is so good at coming up with new recipes and recreating recipes, like her recent Peanut Butter 7 Layer Pie. I've also been lucky enough to meet Katie in real life (we both participate in a local bloggers group) and she is just as sweet and kind in person! Hop over and check out her blog and here is the full recipe for the Chocolate Almond Brownie Balls.

Sunday Shout-Out: Fall Sangria

It’s Sunday Shout-Out time.  There are so many talented, creative, and extraordinary bloggers making amazing goodies.  And oh how I wish I had time to bake all the things that make me smile, and hungry.  Instead of making the recipe, I’m going to share the scrumptious recipe post with you.  Plus, it’s always fun to discover a new blog!

Another regular blog I read is Dessert for Two.  Christina focuses on making delicious desserts that serve 2 instead of 20.  Also, she’s a fellow Kansas resident so she’s immediately even cooler.  It was very hard to pick just one of her recipes to share but her Fall Sangria kept catching my eye.  Especially around the Holidays this would be a great addition to a nice dinner of just a Friday night.  Check out the full recipe here and read her About Me page to learn even more about Christina.

This recipe comes to us from Valentina of The Baking Fairy.  I’m a regular reader and I just love the things she comes up with.  Her homemade pop-tarts are no exception.  I love pop-tarts, brown sugar ones to be exact.  The fact that I could make pop-tarts whenever I darn well please brings a smile to my face.  You must pop (ha, pop…pop-tart) and view the full recipe and her other amazing pictures.

Sunday Shout-Out: Salted Whiskey Caramels

It’s Sunday Shout-Out time. There are so many talented, creative, and extraordinary bloggers making amazing goodies. And oh how I wish I had time to bake all the things that make me smile, and hungry. Instead of making the recipe, I’m going to share the scrumptious recipe post with you. Plus, it’s always fun to discover a new blog!

Let's talk about Leah of 'So, How's It Taste?' and her Salted Whiskey Caramels.  Jacob is a fan of whiskey (on ice or with a coke) so I thought of him right away.  He probably would be like - "Why are you wasting my Jake Daniels!?" but then he'd enjoy the final product.  I think these would be a perfect gift for that special guy in your life.  Maybe put in a little tin and add a fun glass and a bottle of Whiskey - perfect.

Sunday Shout-Out: Crockpot Magic White Chicken Chili

It’s Sunday Shout-Out time.  There are so many talented, creative, and extraordinary bloggers making amazing goodies.  And oh how I wish I had time to bake all the things that make me smile, and hungry.  Instead of making the recipe, I’m going to share the scrumptious recipe post with you.  Plus, it’s always fun to discover a new blog!

Ruthie over at What’s Cooking with Ruthie got my attention with her Crockpot Magic White Chicken Chili.  I LOVE that you use frozen chicken breasts for this recipe.  That makes it so easy!  And the added lime and cilantro…delish. You all know how Jacob likes his chili, but I’m pretty sure I could get him to give this one a try.  Hop on over to Ruthie’s blog for the full recipe.  You’ll be happy you did!
