Come on, you know the slogan. Last week you got a peek into my husbands typical day. Now, it's my turn. I work full-time at a Kansas City real estate company as the Marketing Manager. I've been in the real estate industry for nearly 10 years - that's kinda crazy to say.
My Monday's seem to be the busiest lately so I thought I'd bring you along for the fun.
6:30 am: Wake up, switch on the coffee pot and brew up my favorite Folgers Perfect Measures Breakfast Blend. I usually make 4 cups and use 5-6 tabs. While that brews I spend a little quality time with Henry. He gets his breakfast, some bone chews and snuggles to start his day.
7:00 am - 8:00 am: I pour a big ol' cup of coffee, add a little (okay a lot) Thin Mint creamer and have a quick breakfast. Then, off to get ready for work. I love these heavy duty mugs - they are perfect for coffee sipping in the morning and beer drinking in the evening. On Monday's Jacob has already left for work so I listen to my favorite tunes on Spotify and maybe pretend I'm a professional singer. Maybe.
8:00 - 8:40 am: I have a training class Monday morning so instead of going to the office for 15 minutes, I start my day at home. I check emails, respond to anything urgent and check off a few little tasks. Oh, and finish off the rest of the brewed coffee. This is also about the time the coffee really kicks in making selfies a bit of a challenge...
11:30 am - 5:00 pm: After the training I head to my office. I spend a little time catching up with the Marketing Team - checking in on their weekends and answering any questions they have. I typically have a few meetings a day so outside of that I cross things off my to-do list, check-in on the company social media and respond to emails. This week I'm interviewing for our open Marketing Coordinator role so that will be fun!
5:00 - 5:45 pm: Time to head home to Henry and Jacob! Before moving to KC a 45 minute commute would have sounded crazy but I really don't mind it. I know it's weird, but I like being in a busy city with lots of things happening - even traffic.
5:45 pm - 7:45 pm: It's all about Henry! Henry and I play fetch, cuddle and wait for Jake to get home. Thankfully the weather is cooling down making it perfect for evening walks.
7:45 pm - 10:30 pm: Once Jacob's home we eat dinner and then spend the rest of the evening relaxing. I might work on a few blog posts, he works on his patient notes and Henry keeps us entertained. I'm really liking the new fall shows - This Is Us, Notorious, Speechless. Plus the old favorites - Modern Family, New Girl, Quantico, Superstore and any Bravo show.
10:30 pm: Sweet dream and gear up to do it all over the next day!

Thanks again to Folgers for sponsoring this post. If you're in a market where they offer Perfect Measures you should totally try it. It takes the guess work out of making coffee and helps brew a consistent cup, every time. They have a Coffee Tab Calculator you can use too.
