Seasons 52 for Restaurant Week

The last stop on my Kansas City Restaurant Week tour with Fashion Plate KC had to be Seasons 52. As you all know, I'm a huge fan so any excuse to try their special offerings was good with me. Plus, the $33 dinner included two mini indulgence desserts.

For the first course, LaShonda and I shared the All-Natural Pepperoni flat bread. It had the best roasted Roma tomatoes.

We both picked the Spinach Salad for our second course. The spinach was topped with toasted walnuts, gorgonzola, sherry-walnut vinaigrette. Those pears were delightful.

Because I'd already enjoyed pork and salmon earlier in the week I went with the Oak-Grilled Filet Mignon. They wet-age their beef and I can only assume that is what made the filet mignon so tender. The Yukon mash and red wine sauce made it drool worthy.

I love the mini indulgence dessert options. They bring the whole tray to your table, explain each one and then you pick from the tray. It makes it really hard to "think about it" and they are so small, it's really a no brainer. I was really wanting chocolate so I picked the two really rich options - Chocolate Ganache Brownie and Belgian Chocolate S'More. Here's a little time lapse.

Overall another delightful meal at Seasons 52. Not only is the food divine, I am always impressed by the service and attention to detail. Our server, Rachael, was lovely and you could tell you really loved her job. That really makes the whole dining experience that much better.

They do have Seasons 52 in many others cities - you must give it a try!

This is what happens with LaShonda and I try to take a serious photo. She's the best.
