Crowd Pleasing Snack Mix

Crowd Pleasing Snack Mix - makes a HUGE batch

My first time hosting Thanksgiving went off without a hitch! And I actual had a blast and didn't get angry or stressed once. Cooking the turkey the day before was a huge time saver. Also having my mom, mother-in-law and aunt here to help prep made a huge difference.

Because everyone traveled to Kansas City I wanted to give everyone a little party favor and as soon as I saw this printable from I Heart Naptime I was sold.

I purchased these 16 oz White Dessert Containers from Amazon. Umm....obsessed and want to make these a staple in my kitchen. Not sure why, but I do.

Once I had my containers, I printed the labels and decorated the lids with a little Washi Tape (similar).

Because I had to prep a meal for 17 I wanted to keep the snack fairly simple and something that could travel well. I went for a sweet and salty snack mix that required no baking. I literally dumped a bunch of things in a giant bowl and mixed. Done.

Not only is this a perfect party favor, but it would make a great holiday party snack, teacher or co-worker gifts or serve at a football party.

Oh, and I was able to purchase all of the ingredients at Aldi so it was super affordable.

Crowd Pleasing Snack Mix

1 box honey nut Cheerios
1 box cocoa puffs
2 boxes cheez-its
1 container salted peanuts
1 bag pretzels
2 bags yogurt or white chocolate coated pretzels
2 bags M&M's

Pour all ingredients except the M&M's into a giant bowl and mix. Sprinkle the M&M's on top right before serving to prevent them from dropping to the bottom. (I sprinkled the M&M's on top of each container before sealing.)

Serve!

Makes 30-40, 16 oz servings.
