A Food Bloggers Kitchen While Baking

This shop is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Rubbermaid, but all my opinions are my own. #pmedia #RMDishRack  http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

I can only think of 1 time that I've had an empty sink and dishwasher and all dishes were put away. It's so rare that I had to Instagram the event. Please tell me I'm not the only one.

I have a few other things working against me: I'm a food blogger and I have a bit big collection of old Pyrex and Melmac bowls that I use regularly. My antique shop owning father would kill me if I put those gems in the dishwasher so I'm left with lots of hand washing.

(Don't miss the video at the end of the post!)

A few weeks ago I picked up the new Rubbermaid Deluxe Drainer at Target. TIMEOUT: If you're not already, you better have the Target Cartwheel app on your phone. This is an easy way to save on products. The discounts are not promoted within the store; it's only on the app. I saved 15% on my new Rubbermaid Deluxe Drainer because of a Cartwheel deal. It's valid until May 31st if you want to pick one up too!

This Dish Drainer is different than others in a few ways: it's larger, has a special plate to set delicate items, and has no sides so you can easily dry bowls and cookie sheets at the same time.

I love it! It's much better than the old tea towels I used to lay on my counter. I also find that the dishes dry faster so I can keep a clean and tidy kitchen.

As you know, I've been playing with video lately so what better way to show how I use my new drainer than with a video! [Video Link for Mobile Users] This is what transpires in my kitchen almost every weekend as I bake for the coming weeks blog posts. Some might think I'm crazy for going to all this work but I find it really relaxing and always get excited to share my latest recipes with each of you!

Did you see the cookies in the video? They were Glazed Oatmeal Cookies! Here's the recipe if you're looking for something sweet to bake before you rush off to buy your new drainer.

I'll be back later this week with my other recipe!
