Banana Bread Beer Bread

You didn't think I was done with the whole Banana Bread Beer thing, did ya? I had to use the rest of the bottle somehow. Luckily Ali had an amazing beer bread recipe that worked perfectly with the Banana Bread Beer.

Banana Bread Beer Bread

3 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoon honey or agave nectar
12 ounces Wells Banana Bread beer
4 tablespoon butter, melted

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Grease a loaf pan and set aside.

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir the beer and honey into the dry ingredients until just mixed.

Pour half the melted butter into the loaf pan. Then pour the batter into the loaf pan, and use a pasty brush to brush on the rest of the melted button on top of the batter.

Bake for 45-55 minutes or until top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the middle comes out clean.

Serve warm with additional honey or button on top.

Makes 1 Loaf.
