Rocky Road

 Rocky Road Recipe from WhatchaMakinNow.com

Traditionally this Rocky Road is always made around Christmas in our house, but it's such an easy treat why not enjoy it year-around!

It's literally only 3 ingredients. You probably already have them in your pantry. We always keep it refrigerated but it's just as good at room temperature.

At Christmas, I always know the goodies are in our basement refrigerator, We'd keep a knife in the pan so we can easily get a little snack. It was also the perfect addition to cookie platters for our friends and family.

Rocky Road

16-18 ounces milk chocolate (We always use Hersey Bars.)
3 cups mini marshmallows (More can be used if you went overboard on the chocolate.)
3/4 cup coarsely chopped walnuts

Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or the microwave. Remove from heat. Stir in the walnuts and then add the marshmallows.

Pour into a greased pan - 8 x 8 pan will make a thicker candy, but you could use a 9 x 13 for thinner bars.

Refrigerate to harden. Cut into 2 inch bars and serve!
