Use Wunderlist to Explore Your City

This is not a sponsored story, I just found a really awesome app and want to tell you about it!

We've lived in Kansas City almost 5 years and it seems like every day I learn of something new to do. It could be an event, attraction or restaurant. I've been telling my self I need to start a list so I don't forget...and so I actually visit the places.

I've been on the search for an app that will make this easy. I've tested a few different ones and the winner is Wunderlist.

It's amazing. The website gives this description:
Wunderlist is the easiest way to get stuff done. Whether you’re planning a holiday, sharing a shopping list with a partner or managing multiple work projects, Wunderlist is here to help you tick off all your personal and professional to-dos.
The app works on almost every device and even has a Chrome extension (love). So far the free version is working perfectly for my needs.

I've created a few lists: Restaurants to Try, Brunch Spots to Try, Drinks to Try, Places to Go and Movies to Rent. Here's a little peek at the app experience:

Wunderlist App -- create lists and check off tasks

So, whenever someone mentions one of these things I open the app and write it down. Done. If you're so inclined you can add notes, a URL and even a due date.

The other way I hear about places is social media. For example, on Instagram when I see a photo from a place I'd like to visit I can quickly save the place to my Wunderlist.

Like this photo of Chicken and Waffles from Beer Kitchen. I want it. So I 'share' from Instagram and choose Wunderlist from my options.

Add my notes, pick my list and it's done!
Now, after I visit Beer Kitchen I can check it off my list! You could also save from other social media sites, website or anywhere else that allows you to 'share'.

The other cool thing: you can make your lists public for the world to see! Here's the list of restaurants I'll be tackling.

And guess what? I'm going to report back to you on my experiences as I try these new places. First up will be Beer Kitchen, of course.

What lists will you create first?
