Brown Sugar Fruit Dip
My mom and dad came to visit on Sunday. They are in route to Atlanta for a vacation and to visit some friends. I haven't seen them since Christmas so we were super excited to have them! We met at Arthur Bryant for some BBQ, hit up an antique mall, and we did our regular grocery store trip to Aldi.
Henry was even more excited to see his Grandma and Grandpa. He was (mostly) well-behaved and played fetch nicely. My dad made some crazy sounds to rile him up and ended with 50 pound Henry pouncing into my dads lap. Luckily my dad is a big dog lover and enjoyed every second...I think.
We ended our night by watching Swamp People and chit-chatting. It was wonderful to have him here!
Now the dip. I love me a sweet dip. Don't let the title fool you; you can dip vanilla wafers and graham crackers in it too! The added Heath candy pieces give it a nice crunch and little big of chocolate.
Give it a try!
Brown Sugar Fruit Dip
8 ounces cream cheese
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup Heath candy, crushed
In the bowl of an electric mixer, combine cream cheese and brown sugar until smooth and creamy (couple minutes). Add in vanilla and cinnamon and mix until blended.
Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve. when ready to serve, stir in 1/4 cup Heath pieces and sprinkle remaining on top.
Tip is super yummy with strawberries, blueberries, grapes, graham crackers, animal crackers, etc.
