We are gearing up to finally paint our living room and hallway area...after being in our house over a year. I'm super excited about it because then we can actually buy furniture and USE the room. And, someone else is doing the painting so that makes if even better!
In the midst of picking colors I realized that our guest bath would no longer 'go' with the new paint scheme. Solution: paint the bathroom. I asked Jacob about it and he was on board. It's not a huge bathroom, so it could be done with a gallon of paint.
On my magical Monday, I started priming. The walls were a dark chocolate brown, so priming was a requirement. I know there are paints with primer included but I'm still not 100% set on the color so went with white primer. I used Sherwin Williams Multi-Purpose Zero VOC Primer. I've used Killz in the past and while it works GREAT, the smell is horrible. The SW Zero VOC seriously had little to no odor.
Jacob got home from work, walked in the guest bath to see me painting away. His response: "So, this is happening."
And that it is. I'll reveal my color choice in the final pictures. I've been pining some ideas and inspiration on Pinterest if you want to check it out; maybe you'll be able to guess the color. :)
