Cinnamon Raisin Bagel Chips

Cinnamon Raisin Bagel Chips - such a quick and easy snack! You could do the same thing with different flavors of bagels too.

Um, it never occurred to me that I could make my own bagel chips. What's wrong with me?! Don't answer that. I usually buy bagel chips and then I'm instantly disappointed in the price I paid and the amount in the package.

But you can buy a bag of bagels for under $2.00, especially if you shop at Aldi. Another tip - there are usually cheap bagels in the dairy section of the grocery store, NOT the bread isle.

These bagel chips are delicious. You don't need to worry about them all being the same size or thickness. I like that some are crispier than others. Feel free to swap out for another flavor of bagel too!

Cinnamon Raisin Bagel Chips

5 or 6 cinnamon raisin bagels
1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

If bagels are pre-sliced, slice each half again creating 4 slices per 1 bagel. If bagels are not pre-sliced, cut into 1/4 inch wedges.

Place slices or wedged bagels in a bowl, add melted butter and toss to coat. Add in sugar and cinnamon and toss again to coat.

Place on a cookie sheet in a single layer and bake for 18 to 20 minutes, taking out to flip once during baking. Bake until golden brown and crispy.

Allow chips to cool before storing in an airtight container.
